Bible memorization day five!

15 July

Yea! Psalm three at last! I've worked out a system so that we can memorize two Psalms in one week. This week we're going to work on Psalms three and four. Naturally, we'll start with Psalm three.

In Psalm three, David is talking about the evil all around him, and his enemies, and how Yahweh saves him from evil. Here is the first part of Psalm three for you to memorize.

O Yahweh, how my adversaries have increased! Many rising up against me.
Many are saying of me, "there is no deliverence for him in Elohim." Selah
But you, O Yahweh, are a shield for me, my esteem, and the one lifting up my head.
I cried to Yahweh with my voice, and he heard me from his set apart mountain. Selah.

Those are the first four verses of Psalm three.  Tomorrow, I'll post the rest of the Psalm, and then on Wednesday and Thursday you'll work on memorizing Psalm four. So, better get to it!

Today's Proverb is Proverbs fifteen. If you can, read it through, along with the other Torah readings from the Tanak and the Brit Chadashah. They are all amazing.
