Praise Yahweh!!!
15 AugustI found my cat!!!
The night before I found her, I sat up and a prayed and I cried until 10:30 pm, and asked God that we would find her completely unharmed and that if we didn't find her, she would still be alive somewhere, hopefully being fed and taken care of somewhere. I woke up feeling heavy hearted, and went about the day thinking about her.
That night, I went down to our giant shop that's bigger than my Auntie's house to play with our kittens. Cassmere is around ten years old, and she's really skittish, but she warmed right up to me when we first got her and always purred and massaged my arm with her claws, (as sign on affection for the cats, although it hurts pretty bad.)
But anyway, I picked up our kittens and was standing in the shop door, holding them, and remembered how Cassmere would roll her head around while I was petting her. That's when I heard her crying. I recognized her meow, and stood perfectly still, listening, thinking, "there's no way that's my cat."
Josh was coming down the hill with Caleb to take care of the chickens. I told them to stop walking and talking and just listen. We heard her crying again. I threw the kittens in the shop, (not really; I very quickly set them down and slammed the door shut.) I ran down to where I heard her crying. She was in a big pipe in the irrigation ditch, just sitting there crying. We coaxed her out with food, and then I picked her up and carried her back to the shop.
See how Yahweh is merciful? I prayed almost the entire night Tuesday that we would find her completely unharmed, and she looks completely normal! Praise Yahweh that I found her and that she's back to stay!
