"You shall yet plant vines on the mountains of Samaria..."
Jeremiah 31:5
"...And the sons of the foreigner shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers..."
Isaiah 61:5
This is a pictures of grapes on the mountains of Samaria. Wow. Beautiful. Wouldn't it be amazing if we could pick these grapes? Wouldn't it be amazing if we could be part of fulfilling prophecy? This picture was taken recently in Israel at the 2013 Grape Harvest with Ha Yovel. Isn't it beautiful?
This is wine from the 2011 Harvest. Tons and tons of wine.
We were not able to go this year, sadly, but Dad went for the pruning trip, and took a lot of pictures, so at least we have those.
This year, Ha Yovel has harvested over 92 tons of grapes, and they're only just beginning!
For more pictures of this years harvest, and for information on Tommy Waller and his family, go to hayovel.com. or zionssake.com.
Friday night, the sixth, we went to Grand Junction to look for the new moon. Unfortunantly, we didn't see it, or the next night after that. But the moon was sighted in Israel on Satereday, and we are keeping all the feast days according to the moon in Israel. Now the next feast day we have coming up is...
Yom Kippur!
The day when all atonement is made, apologies made, forgiveness accepted, and so on. I cannot say that I am really excited to fasting everything except dinner, but I'm going to do it. If we get pictures, I will try to post them on the blog, but if not, then there will be no Yom Kippur pictures on the blog. :)
Thank you for reading today's post! Please comment!
