Bible memorization.. Day three!
23 JuneToday, we're going to work on memorizing Psalm 2. This one is very powerful indeed, and because I was so intrigued by the words I had no trouble memorizing it. Here are the first few verses for you to memorize!
Why do the nations rage, and the people meditate on emptiness? The sovereigns of the earth take their stands, and the rulers take counsel together, against Yahweh and his Messiah, saying, "Let us tear apart their bonds, and throw their ropes away from us." He who sits in the heavens laughs; Yahweh mocks at them. He speaks to them in his wrath, and troubles them with his rage, saying, "But I, I have set my sovereign on Zion, my set apart mountain."
That is so encouraging, as all the Psalms are! It reminds me of Psalm one, on the part that says, "Yahweh mocks at them." And then it goes on to say, "But I, I have set my sovereign on Zion, my set apart mountain." And that's right! He has set his sovereign, his King, on Zion, the mountain of God!
I hope you have an easy time memorizing and understanding the words to this Psalm like I did. Sometimes I have a hard time understanding what Yahweh's word says, but don't we all? There are some things we will never understand, but that doesn't mean that we can't act on it!
Thank you for reading today's post and working on memorizing this Psalm! Please comment!
