The flooding from Friday the 23rd was pretty severe. Here are a couple pictures of the damage and the flooding.
This is a pictures of the damage. It's really bad. There are big boulders along the road and huge lakes of water along I-70. As far as we know, nobody was hurt. That's what we're praying for.
They can't start the real clean up until the water is gone, but that could be months from now. When we got trapped in Grand Junction because of the mud slide in Debeque Canyon, There was little pools of water and mud for about a month after that, and it's still a little muddy right now. Who knows how long it will take for the "lakes" of water to disappear.
I will try to find more pictures, but so far, this is what I could find. Please pray that the flooding will go down and that there won't be any flooding like this again. My Dad has lived in that area most of his life, and he's never seen flooding like that around there.

That was really bad flooding! I had to go outside for something and it started to hail!

It was. We weren't on the interstate when it happened, thank God. But the pictures and the damage are just unreal.
