Weeds... Uhg!

18 August

Weeds are totally disgusting. We hate weeds. The cities hate weeds. When we lived in Fruita, we got in trouble because there were five weeds in our front yard. No joke. Although here, it's much, much worse than in Fruita, because here, everything is dead and dry, and there are acres and acres of weeds in every direction! For instance, our whole thirty five acres that we live on is full of Knap weed, and really gross, disgusting weed that has roots that grow to be fifteen feet deep. It's nuts!

So, since God said that we should work six days a week, we have to work on getting rid of all the weeds on our thirty five acres. Dad is mowing them down right now, and it looks like a field of freshly mowed, dead grass. Ugh!

And I spent nearly one whole hour doing the dishes. So fun! (Not!!!)

And Mom is painting our chicken coop.

So, this is our day. Working, working, working! But that's okay, because as the Torah says, "Six days shall you work, but the seventh day is a day of rest. You shall do no work on it."

Praise Yahweh for the seventh day!

Get rid of the weeds in your life... And you won't have any more weeds!
