Happy Thanks Giving and Chanukah!
28 NovemberIt's November 28, 2013 and those of us who do Thanks Giving and are eating one of my favorite, and I mean my favorite meal of the year will have a load of work to do, if you're making everything, (almost everything) from scratch like my family. (almost.) Sorry this post is so short, but this was just a short note to tell you Happy Thanks Giving. Too bad we can't just eat a Thanks Giving meal all day long. My mouth is watering at the thought of my Mom's homemade green been case role.:) Have a wonderful Thanks Giving!
And it's the first day of Chanukah! Lighting candles, eating latkes at party after party, playing game after game of dreidle with chocolate gelt, reading story after story about the Maccabees, listening to song after song about Chanukah (who doesn't know about the Maccabeats?) and there's eight nights of it! When I'm not in such a huge rush I'll go a little bit into the history of Chanukah, but not today! So Happy Chanukah to you!
