Update
19 OctoberShalom everyone! Okay, I know what you're thinking. It has been almost an entire month since I last posted, and for that I apologize. We have been so busy! I can't believe that the Fall Feasts are already over! Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles or Booths came to an end on the seventeenth of October and Simchat Torah was on Shabbat. We've had a full week or camping, and it has been such a wonderful time! We were not short of trials, though, but Yahweh brought us through the week of things breaking, people getting sick and so on... I don't need to go into the details. :) But praise Yahweh for His goodness and faithfulness during difficult times! Half way through the week, my Dad had to remind us of the verse in James 1:2-4...
Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of you faith produces endurence. And let endurence have its perfect result that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
Wow! What an encouraging verse. It reminds us that even in the midst of difficult times, we must be full of joy, despite the circumstances, which is something that I'm still working on. Learning how to be joyful when trial after trial is being thrown in your face is difficult, but that is all a part of strengthening our relationship with our Heavenly Father! And in the end, the testing of our faith produces endurence. How amazing!
