Khaki & Floral
02 DecemberHappy late Thanks Giving! Did all of you have an absolutely wonderful Thanks Giving? I know my family did. We spent Thursday evening at a campground near....
Grand Canyon National Park!
It was so fun! It's unbelievable how big it is! We did take pictures, and those (hopefully!) will be posted if I can get them onto the computer!
Coming to the Grand Canyon reminded us of how powerful God really is. The Genesis Flood is what carved the canyon, and it scares me how much water there must have been and how strong it was!
As much fun as we had seeing Grand Canyon, I would not recommend walking with small children on the rim! There are no railings between the trail and the cliff on the rim trail, and there are only a short railings where they know there's going to be a lot of people. (We only went to those places, because I was really, really, really freaked out about tripping and falling a thousand feet. That would be a really bad day.) I would like to go back when my siblings are older and understand that if you fall, you die, and that hopefully they would be more careful. :)
But it was so beautiful! Pictures don't even capture and awesomeness of it. If you really want to see it for what it is, you need to just go there.
And now... This is one of my favorite outfits. It's comfortable, pretty, feminine, and well, my favorite. Pictures are courtesy of my awesome brother, Joshua, who patiently helps me with all this. :)
