GAPS Brownies!

11 December

Hey everyone! I found this awesome recipe that is probably one of my favorite brownie recipe's in the world, and I thought that it would be selfish to keep it all to my self, so I decided to share some of the joy and deliciousness. :)

These brownies are extremely delicious, moist, and chocolaty. I will definitely be making these again, even when we're not on GAPS.

Ingredients

2/3 cup of honey
1/2 cup melted butter or coconut oil
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
3 eggs
1 cup of Almond flour
1/2 cup cocoa or cacao
1/4 tsp. salt (omit if using salted butter)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat eggs until foamy, then add the rest of the wet ingredients and mix until smooth. Stir in the dry ingredient with a spoon until well mixed. Pour into a greased 8 by 8 inch pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until center no longer jiggles. I bake mine for about 22 to 23 minutes.

I actually make a double batch when ever I make these, and I was so excited when I saw that it only takes one cup of almond flour instead of five like most recipes! I'm going to make these as soon as I finish this post.
Enjoy!
