GAPS Chocolate Peppermint Snoothie

16 December

Yum! This is one of our favorite breakfasts. Not only is it chocolaty, pepperminty, and all around fantastically delicious, it's also good for you!!!! This recipe was found on Pinterest, but I've modified it just a little bit to fit out taste. :)

GAPS Chocolate peppermint smoothie
1/2 and avacado
1 banana (preferably frozen, but fresh is okay)
1/2 cup if coconut milk
1-2 tbsp. of honey
2 tbsp. Cocoa or cacao powder(I prefer the cacao in this smoothie. I also do two heaping tbsp to get a more chocolate flavor.)
1 tsp. of vanilla
1/2 tsp peppermint extract of peppermint essential oils
1 1/2 tsp. of gelatin hydrolysate
1-2 tsp. of melted coconut oil
2-4 egg yokes(optional)
2 tsp. almond butter(optional)
1/2 cup of ice
Additional milk kefir as needed

Blend it all up!

I've never had to add any milk kefir to mine, and to feed our whole family I usually have to make four or five batches of this! It's very hard to find a smoothie recipe that all my siblings like, though, so it really is worth it!
