"You have put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise..."

28 January

The past few weeks have been really amazing. On top of going on Intro last week, there is a lot of purging going on, both physically and spiritually. The things that have been happening are amazing and encouraging.

As most of you know, my Mom organizes a Bible Study every other Tuesday evening for the "youth," so to speak. We've talked about a lot, and interestingly enough everything that we've talked about seems to be tying into what we are going through right now. Things like truly wearing the Armour of God, valuing His Word, trusting Him, and many others. Yesterday I had a guest post from my friend Sophia, and for those of you who haven't read it yet, I encourage you to scroll down and read the whole article. You can see that that story is obviously a story of trust, and when I first heard it, I was slightly suspicious. I thought, "Uh oh, I can feel a test coming for me." And one came.

God purges us. While we are cleansing our bodies, he is cleansing our spirits. So many amazing things are happening! I personally been cleansed from some unclean things in my spirit, and while I still have my moments, I have not had nearly as many outbursts as before and I feel much, much calmer and more peaceful during stressful situations (Like most meals, right now.)

Being cleansed and purified is such an amazing, wonderful feeling! I have a spirit of worship and praise to replace the ugly things that were in my heart. I have Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, and Self Control. It is such a better feeling!

I want to encourage those of you who have things that are holding you captive. Let it go today, now. And be encouraged. Pray for Abba's Shalom to fill you, and find someone who can hold you accountable. And above all, know that you are loved...
