Today we cooked meals for when the baby is born so that we don't have to do so much cooking when we're trying to keep a peaceful atmosphere. I think we cooked twenty meals altogether today, not counting breakfast and lunch. They're all crock pot meals, so we can just throw them in the crock pot and then they can cook all day. But my feet ache from standing and my hands hurt from pealing potatoes and cutting vegetables. I sliced two of my fingers open with the knife I didn't think was that sharp. I was wrong. :)

Now, Mom is resting, Dad is setting up a fence, and I'm here, typing and watching the deer out the window. Very graceful animals, don't you agree? I think I might even see a buck among them. The elk haven't quite come down from because it's not quite cold enough and there is no snow on the ground. But soon they will, and we'll have giant herds of elk in our back yard again, just like last year. So neat!

But that's besides the point of this post. The next issue for the Shining Stars Magazine is 'Loving our husbands and children,' And Samantha at virtuousdaughters.com did a wonderful post on that. It is truly eye opening, and I would encourage everyone to visit her blog and read the post called 'Ways to love our Husbands and Children now.' You might have to search it, but please, please read it. And if you want more information about this next issue of the magazine, please click here to go to Shining Star's website and go to magazine on the pages and click current issue. It should have all the information about the next issue. Thanks for reading today and please comment!
